He tried them and then took them to monks who threw them in fire and they released their heavenly aroma, the monks then soaked them in water and drank it, leading to the discovery of coffee.

The genetic diversity and the unique agroclimates contribute to the unique and complex flavours of Ethiopian coffee.
The regions like Sidamo are famous for their distinct profiles, which can range from bright and floral to winy and fruity. Sidamo is grown at an altitude of 1400-2200 meters above sea level. They are a fully wash bean and are harvested between October to January. The Ethiopian bean is a very hard bean compared to others and need to be roasted to a certain point to be ground comfortable into grind to make your favourite cup of coffee.
